Storage and Processing at our 360.000 sqm large site
In 1880, the first steel warehouse was opened in Remscheid to supply the local tooling and sawing industry with raw material. This steel warehouse was the basis for the worldwide established sawmill service center (Saegenstahlcenter) owned and managed by ThyssenKrupp until 2015. Today's „SSC Saegenstahlcenter GmbH“ has taken over the business of the "ThyssenKrupp Saegenstahlcenter" and is continuing it today with its headquarters in Hagen and large warehousing and efficient processing in Burg.
We are the competent partner for the saw and knife industry worldwide and ensure a reliable and flexible delivery capability through a well-equipped storage program.
We offer high quality flat steel products - MADE IN GERMANY

- Cold rolled blank strip or rolled to strength (ring / cut to length)

- Hardened and tempered blanks and sheet metal blanks
Various steel grades and a broad range of products and dimensions are stored at the 360,000 m² site of „SSC Sägenstahlcenter“ in Burg and, if desired, are further processed with our extensive and efficient machine park and thereafter sold to saw and knife manufacturers worldwide.
